003 - And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer`s inkhorn by his side;

004 - And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
|

| |
005 - And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
|
|
| |
006 - Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
|
|
| |
007 - And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
|
|
| |
008 - And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
|

| |
009 - Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.
|
|
| |
010 - And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.
|
|
| |
011 - And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.

| |
001 - Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
|
|
| |
002 - And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.
|
|
| |
003 - Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
|
|
| |
004 - Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD`s glory.
|
|
| |
005 - And the sound of the cherubims` wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.
|
|
| |
006 - And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.
|
|
| |
007 - And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.
|
|
| |
008 - And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man`s hand under their wings.
|
|
| |
009 - And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.
|
|
| |
010 - And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.
|
|
| |
011 - When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.
|
|
| |
012 - And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.
|
|
| |
013 - As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.
|
|
| |
014 - And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
|
|
| |
015 - And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.
|
|
| |
016 - And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
|
|
| |
017 - When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.
|
|
| |
018 - Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
|
|
| |
019 - And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD`s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
|
|
| |
020 - This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims.
|
|
| |
021 - Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.
|
|
| |
022 - And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.

001 - Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD`s house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.
|
|
| |
002 - Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:
|
|
| |
003 - Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.
|
|
| |
004 - Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.
|
|
| |
005 - And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.
|
|
| |
006 - Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
|
|
| |
007 - Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
|
|
| |
008 - Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.
|
|
| |
009 - And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
