001 - Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

002 - From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

003 - For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
|

| |
004 - I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

005 - For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

006 - Thou wilt prolong the king`s life: and his years as many generations.
|

007 - He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.

008 - So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

001 - Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

002 - He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

003 - How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

004 - They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

005 - My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
|
|
| |
006 - He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

007 - In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

008 - Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

009 - Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

010 - Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

011 - God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

012 - Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

001 - O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

002 - To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

003 - Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
|
|
| |
004 - Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

| |
005 - My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

006 - When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

007 - Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

| |
008 - My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
|

| |
009 - But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

010 - They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

011 - But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

001 - Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
|
|
| |
002 - Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
|

| |
003 - Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
|
|
| |
004 - That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
|
|
| |
005 - They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
|
|
| |
006 - They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
|
|
| |
007 - But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
|
|
| |
008 - So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
|
|
| |
009 - And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
